It is no secret that everything is bigger and better in Texas! When it comes to rodeos, Texas does not disappoint! Amarillo, Texas is home to the Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo. Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th at 7:00 pm the Amarillo National Center hosts a rodeo unlike any other where real cowboys and cowgirls from actual working ranches compete in events such as Team Branding, Ranch Bronc Riding, Team Doctoring, Wild Cow Milking, Team Penning, Stray Gathering, and Trailer Loading.

The Coors Cowboy Club, formed in 2000 was created to help advocate the true meaning of helping your neighbor, the cowboy way and recognizing a need in the community for volunteer workforce for numerous events, functions, and charities in and around the Texas Panhandle. The Coors Cowboy Club comprises of more than 100 active members from varied backgrounds, occupations. Being a 501 (c) (4) charity the Coors Cowboy Club plays a big part in helping local charities, and other organizations in order to keep the rich tradition of rodeos alive, they also help host events such as The National Cutting Horse Association, United States Team Penning Association and The Cowboy Mounted Shooters competitions. The members of the Coors Cowboy Club volunteer their time, services and goodwill to Eveline Rivers’ Make A Child Smile Project, Khiva Shrine, Homes for Our Troops and Amarillo area law enforcement to name a few.

Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo kicks off on Thursday, June 6th at 6:00 pm with a cattle-drive in downtown Amarillo. Festivities continue Friday and Saturday with Cowboy Christmas from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Amarillo National Center. Head to the Commercial Exhibits Hall for the Chuckwagon Dinner & Brew from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm. The Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo Performances start at 7:00 pm at the Amarillo National Center.

On Saturday only, don’t miss the Amarillo National Center for the High Plains Ranchers & Breeders Associates Horse Futurity & Sale at 8:00 am. If you feel like testing your luck, sign up for the Noon-Washer Pitch starting at 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Tri-City Fairgrounds (Contact Randy Perez for more information and to sign up 806-679-5107). Following the Rodeo Performance, each night you can dance the night away on a large dance floor at the Tri-State Fairgrounds where a DJ will be playing all the top country and western music, ice-cold Coors beer will be awaiting your arrival! For live entertainment check out Bart Crow and Wynn Williams starting at 10:05 pm each night at the Starlight Ranch.
