1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 cup milk
½ stick (1/4 cup) melted butter
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp sugar
Enough flour to make as thick as you like
Directions:
Heat griddle to 380-400 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine baking powder and baking soda. Add boiling water. Stir well. Add cup of milk and stir. Pour in melted butter, beaten egg and sugar. Mix well. Add enough flour to thicken to your likeness. Pour batter onto greased griddle. Flip when pancakes bubble. They should look light, golden brown. Serve warm with butter & maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
