The exciting activities throughout the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) will include Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Girl’s Breakaway, Tie-Downs, and more with events being geared to different age groups.
Some of the main occasions and buckle ceremonies will be:
1 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.— Junior Buckle Ceremony
1:30 p.m.- 2:45 p.m.— Saddle Bronc Riding *Junior Final
2:45 p.m. – 3 p.m.— Junior Buckle Ceremony
3 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.— Bull Riding (ages 14-15 and 16-17)
4:45 p.m. – 5 p.m.— Junior Buckle Ceremony
Tuesday, December 12
12:30 p.m. — 1:30 p.m.Flag Girl Competition
Thursday, December 14
12:30 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.— Team Roping for ages 16-19 and 15 and Under Final
2 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.— Junior Buckle Ceremony for Team Roping (15 and Under)
9 a.m. – 10 a.m. –- Barrel Racing (11 and under) *Junior Final
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.—Barrel Racing (16 andUnder) *Junior Final
11 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.— Junior Buckle Ceremony
11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. –- Steer Wrestling *Junior Final
12:30 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.— Junior Buckle Ceremony

Cowboy Christmas 2017 and will be held from December 7 through December 16. The approximate number of exhibitors will be more than 400, who will be using approximately 900,000 square feet of exhibit space. Over 30,000 visitors are expected.
This will be the place to look at and shop for the newest and greatest gifts as the top western and cowboy vendors showcase their unique and wide range of products and services. Included will be holiday merchandise, western wear, handcrafted items, boots and spurs, personal and fashion accessories, fashion and fine jewelry, furniture, handmade crafts, original art, gifts and collectibles, pottery, antiques, gourmet food products, and more.
