Are you ready for some fun Colorado? The time has come for the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo in Castle Rock, Colorado kicking off on August 1-4! Put on your cowboy boots and gather your friends and family. There will be fun for all ages!
Who’s ready to watch an action-packed rodeo? There will be one night of Xtreme Bulls! This will give you an adrenaline rush, keeping you on the edge of your seat watching the top PRCA bull riders take on the top bulls.
The following nights there will be the Medved PRCA Rodeo performances which include bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, women’s barrel racing, team roping and bull riding. Get ready for a good time!
Each day of the rodeo will be special honoring various groups. August 1 is Xtreme Bulls, August 2 is Patriot Night, August 3 is Celebrating the ProRodeo Hall of Fame Class of 2019 Inductees and August 4 is Cowboys for Cops.
Get your dancing boots on because you won’t want to miss out on entertainment by country music artist, Gary Allen on Saturday, August 3. You’ll get the opportunity to see country music artist, Walker Williams perform as well! If you love listening to soulful instruments then be sure to check out the amazing Chapman Stick artist, David Tipton.
You will be blown away by how beautiful he plays this unique instrument. To change things up check out the awesome guitarist and accordionist, Rick Chinisci. Chinisci can play a variety of genres- classical, jazz, Broadway and rock! There will be lots of amazing entertainment going on throughout the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo!
