Written by

Many gathered together in Eagle, Colorado, to attend the Eagle PRCA Rodeo this summer. The event was held between June 11 and June 13, 2015, and it was a highlight of the summer for a wide range of ages. Whether you are a cowboy or a cowgirl, there were incredible events and activities planned throughout the Pro Rodeo that may have held your attention for all three days of the rodeo. Several hundred people attended this Pro Rodeo, and with a closer look at the different activities that captured their attention, you will see that this is an event that you may want to plan to attend next year.

The Pro Rodeo Events

The Eagle PRCA Rodeo is an event that is sanctioned by the ICA, the IMPRA, Pro-West and the NPRA, and it is in its 14th year. As with previous years, this cowboy and cowgirl rodeo was filled with excitement from several different Pro Rodeo events. It included competitions in mutton busting, calf riding and steer riding. The official results from this year have not been released. However, in previous years, some of the winners who walked away with a cash price from these events included Trey McFarland, Evelyn Allington, Ryan Hirchert, Culter King, Ryden Rodgers, Jeremiah Cantu, Levi Collins, Dawson Walker and others. Some of this year’s rodeo competitions were televised by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, and this made it convenient for those who could not attend to watch the events.

Other Activities at the Eagle Rodeo

While many who attended the Eagle PRCA Rodeo in Eagle, Colorado, did so to watch their favorite cowboy or cowgirl compete in these various competitions, others wanted to partake in the complete rodeo experience. In addition to the food and drink vendors at this event, visitors also could explore the Ak-Chin Indian Community display and meet the Earnhardt Auto Road Team. There was also an After Rodeo Party and a free family slack night for all ages.
If you have never attended the Eagle PRCA Rodeo in Eagle, Colorado, or if you attend it every year as a tradition, you may consider making your plans now to attend next year’s rodeo. This is a fun-filled and exciting event that will not disappoint you. While tickets are not yet available, you can make your travel plans and include your attendance at this event as part of your summer vacation next year.
