Earnhardt holiday events warm spirits, help others

Written by

Earnhardt Auto Centers locations are doing their part to spread Christmas cheer this year, with a holiday event and a benefit raffle. Check out and participate in these great events!

Meet Santa at Rodeo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Queen Creek on December 15 or 16 from 4-6 pm! A favorite community tradition, Rodeo CDJR will again host holiday fun. Visitors can take free photos with the big man himself and enjoy hot cocoa. New this year, the #NoBull Express train offers trackless trips around the parking lot. It’ll be a wonderful time for the whole family!

Photos with Santa will be available as high-resolution digital downloads after the event. Please, due to time restrictions, only one pose/sitting per family.

Rodeo CDJR is located at 35747 N Ellsworth Road in Queen Creek. Registration is required for this event and can be done online. So grab the whole family and get ready for the ho-ho-holidays!

Earnhardt is also helping others this season. So buy your tickets soon for the Hearts Under the Hood Raffle for your chance to win a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport!

Net sales from the raffle will benefit the American Heart Association in its mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. As champions for health equity, the American Heart Association has the goal to advance cardiovascular health for all by 2024. Their objectives include identifying and removing barriers to healthcare access and quality.

Tickets are $100 each and may be purchased online. A total of 3,000 tickets will be sold to Arizona residents, with sales happening through December 15 until 9:00 am or until all tickets are sold. One lucky winner’s name will be drawn on December 16, and the winner will be notified by email or mail. So why not take a chance to win a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, and benefit a good cause at the same time!

Carolyn Sostrom is a long-time Arizona resident who loves desert sunsets, warm weather, Zumba, and the Western lifestyle. She attended Saguaro High School in Scottsdale and then Arizona State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Similarly to the protagonist in *The Devil Wears Prada*, Carolyn moved to New York City right after college. She started working for the fashion magazine company Conde Nast but never transitioned to the dark side. After a few years, she left New York in the rearview mirror and returned to her home state, taking a reporter job at the *Apache Junction Independent*. With over 30 years of freelance writing experience, Carolyn especially enjoys writing about community events and profiling individuals who are making a difference in their communities. She had the pleasure of interviewing a variety of cowboy personalities for an article she wrote for the *Scottsdale Independent* about the history of DC Ranch and its roots as a working ranch. Now, her Western adventures with CLN have her diving into the rugged automotive scene, exploring the trucks and rigs cowboys rely on for work, home, and play, a niche where grit meets horsepower. She works at Raising Special Kids, a nonprofit resource center for families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs. Carolyn also volunteers with the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix. Carolyn believes that everyone has a story, and she loves connecting with others to hear their stories. She’s dedicated to ethical journalism and accurate reporting, which shines through in her storytelling.
