Earnhardt Locations Offer Some of the Safest Family SUVs Around

Here are some of the top-rated family cars, rated by MotorTrend, that Earnhardt represents.

The 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer received five-star overall safety ratings, the highest grade achievable from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Every Trailblazer comes with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and automatic high beams, according to MotorTrend. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic monitoring and rear parking sensors are available for all trim levels. Adaptive cruise control comes in three trim styles, Trailblazer LT, Activ and RS.

For Ford fans, the Bronco Sport was the only Ford SUV to make MotorTrend’s list. Safety features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, notes MotorTrend.

Another option, the 2022 Genesis GV80 earns excellent crash safety results, notes MotorTrend. It earned top ratings from both the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) and NHTSA. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, front automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and side and rear cross-traffic alert. A total of 10 airbags are placed throughout the cabin. In addition, camera-based blind-spot monitors display live views of the vehicle’s blind spots when turn signals are activated.
