Helotes, Texas – Get ready to see the action unfold at the Extreme Bull Blow Out on Friday, October 4th, and Saturday, October 5th at the Helotes Festival Grounds. The grounds are located at 12210 Leslie Rd., Helotes, Texas 78023. This event is presented by H-E-B and is sponsored by Bud Light. Gates open at 6:00 pm both Friday and Saturday and bull riding will kick off at 7:30 pm both nights. All ages are welcome!

Event Details

Get ready for an adrenaline rush as you’ll watch forty bull riders take on the rankest bulls each night. JD Nix Rodeo Company is the stock contractor for this extreme event. There has been $8,000 added! We’ll see which rider takes it home! There will also be a Championship buckle awarded to the average from both nights. 

Bring an appetite as there will be food and drinks for purchase. Stick around after the event as everyone walks down to the pavilion for live music and dancing. Small Town Habit will be performing on Friday night from 9:30 pm-midnight. Nick Zamora will be performing on Saturday night from 9:30 pm-midnight.

Helotes Cornyval and PRCA Rodeo 2025

Mark your calendars as the Helotes Cornyval and PRCA Rodeo is just around the corner! Stay tuned for when you can start purchasing your tickets. It’s an event you don’t want to miss and perfect for all ages! The Cornyval is full of thrilling rides, games, a super ferris wheel, amusements, arts and crafts, vendors, food, the rodeo, and live music. The rodeo will consist of women’s barrel racing, breakaway roping, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, bull riding, and don’t forget mutton bustin’! There will be cash prizes and a Champion Buckle will be awarded at each event!

Next year’s 2025 spectacular event consists of four nights of the action-packed carnival and three nights of the PRCA rodeo. The Cornyval will start Thursday, May 1st, and go through Sunday, May 4th. The PRCA rodeo will be kicking off on Thursday, May 1st through Saturday, May 3rd! It’s the fastest-growing rodeo spectacle in the country. Thursday will be St. Jude night, Helotes Rodeo is making this a very special night. Friday night is Bud Light night and it isn’t a rodeo without a cold one! Lastly, Saturday the Helotes Rodeo represents unconditional support for our Veterans.

My work even caught the eye of Cowboy Lifestyle Network's CTO, Irish Padmore, who recognized me for contributing to his research on Consumer Behavior in the Age of AI.
