Flagstaff Rodeo 2015 Highlights

Written by

The Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team had the privilege of attending the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) 2015 Flagstaff Rodeo this last weekend.
This was only the second year that the Arizona city, called Flagstaff, held the rodeo; and just as planned, it turned out to be a huge success. Completely sold out on Saturday night, the entire event was an incredibly exciting time as fans and contestants from all over Arizona, surrounding states, and even Canada joined the cowboy fun.
In addition to the usual rodeo events, the Flagstaff Rodeo also included “Mounted Shooting” and “Mutton Busting,” which kept the crowd and team at the Cowboy Lifestyle Network intrigued with something different and energizing as they watched the new events. Also, as if it could not get any more electrifying, the specialty act during the middle of the rodeo, named Troy Lerwill a.k.a. “Wild Child,” amused the fans with his death defying motorcycle tricks, crazy antics, and thrilling maneuvers. Bull rider Stetson Lewis, travelling partner of CLN’s Dan Curtin, took third place, while CLN sponsor Hal Earnhardt and Victor Aros of Earnhardt Ford placed in the team roping event with an amazing 9.1.

Coors Light RV

Speaking of sponsors, the Flagstaff Rodeo would not be right without Hollywood’s Productions newly renovated Coors Light RV there to host the VIP’s and promoters of the rodeo, which included main sponsor Northland Beverage, Wrangler Western, and Boot Barn to name a few.
Coors Light was the chief sponsor of the concert, held after the rodeo, which also attracted over 3,000 two-stepping, party lovin’ rodeo fans of all ages.

Chad Freeman and redline

Chad Freeman and Redline, country rock cover band based out of Phoenix, Arizona, kept the crowd thoroughly entertained until midnight when the grounds shut down. The band performed right there on the rodeo grounds after being hauled out into the rodeo arena by an eighteen wheeler, playing on the flat bed of the truck.
There is no doubt that the Flagstaff Rodeo was an occasion to remember for all who attended and supported. The Cowboy Lifestyle Network team will definitely be putting this one on the books again for next year. We hope you can join us!
