Ford Transit Connect adapts to meet your needs

Written by

The Ford Transit Connect gives you lots of space for a reasonable price. Initially introduced as a commercial vehicle, the Transit Connect offers different models and add-ons, making it handy for driving family around town too. Check out the Ford Connect at any Earnhardt Auto Centers dealership, especially Earnhardt Ford in Chandler and Rodeo Ford in Goodyear.

A Consumer Reports review calls Ford Transit Connect a “credible people mover,” citing its sliding side doors and high roof line. The Transit Connect wagon seats up to seven passengers and is about the length of a Honda Accord, according to the review. It’s offered in a wagon or a van body style.

The Transit Connect also offers flexibility for when you need to haul more gear than people, and can adapt if your needs change frequently. Seats fold down flat to change your seating and gear configuration.

Inside, the Transit Connect is comfortable and functional. Choose vinyl, cloth or leather-trimmed seating with heated passenger seats available too. The passenger wagon offers options like front-row, full width overhead storage and front grab handles, making it easier to get in and out of the vehicle.

An optional sunroof acts as a skylight, and the power shade blocks the sun when needed too. This option is available on the Transit Connect XLT and Titanium models.

Safety features include a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert to help keep you safe on the busy roads. A rear-view camera provides guidelines to help hitch your vehicle’s trailer hitch to the trailer hitch receiver when needed. And high-tech perks include SYNC® 3 voice-activated technology and available touchscreen navigation.

To test drive the Transit Connect or to learn more about this vehicle, visit any Earnhardt Auto Centers dealership in person or online. You’ll be impressed with the versatility of the Ford Transit Connect!

She attended Saguaro High School in Scottsdale and then Arizona State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Similarly to the protagonist in *The Devil Wears Prada*, Carolyn moved to New York City right after college. After a few years, she left New York in the rearview mirror and returned to her home state, taking a reporter job at the *Apache Junction Independent*. With over 30 years of freelance writing experience, Carolyn especially enjoys writing about community events and profiling individuals who are making a difference in their communities. She had the pleasure of interviewing a variety of cowboy personalities for an article she wrote for the *Scottsdale Independent* about the history of DC Ranch and its roots as a working ranch. Now, her Western adventures with CLN have her diving into the rugged automotive scene, exploring the trucks and rigs cowboys rely on for work, home, and play, a niche where grit meets horsepower. She works at Raising Special Kids, a nonprofit resource center for families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs. Carolyn also volunteers with the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix. Carolyn believes that everyone has a story, and she loves connecting with others to hear their stories. She’s dedicated to ethical journalism and accurate reporting, which shines through in her storytelling.
