23 days long, this event is the most authentic Western lifestyle experience with rodeo, livestock and horse shows, kid-friendly activities and exhibits, live music, carnival rides and games, shopping, great food and so much more. The FWSSR is the city’s oldest and largest public event, and 2024 marks another year of fun entertainment and sharing the unique characteristics of the western and agriculture industries.

Kicking off with the “Best of the West” Ranch Rodeo, there will be rodeo performances every afternoon/evening, concerts in the Corkyard and Bud Light Roadhouse, various livestock and horse shows nearly every day and so many fun experiences for friends or family.

With nearly $1 million in added money for the FWSSR ProRodeo Tournament, the biggest names in rodeo will be competing and kicking off their winter run for the 2024 season. As one of the first of the major winter/spring Texas rodeos, known as the Texas Swing, the action in Dickies Arena will be hot.

General admission to the FWSSR provides access to all non-ticketed attractions on the grounds and can be purchased at any gate or ticket window. To attend rodeo performances, you can purchase tickets online.
