Gilbert Days Rodeo 2024

Written by

Once recognized as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World,” Gilbert, Arizona has quickly expanded, earning it the title of one of America’s fastest-growing communities. While a once rural landscape has developed into a sprawling suburban metropolis, Gilbert hasn’t lost sight of its Western heritage and its important influence on today’s community.

Western Heritage

While Gilbert’s ranching and rodeo history extends decades, it was in 1978 when a group of Gilbert ranchers, businessmen, and entrepreneurs banded together to preserve and promote Gilbert’s Western heritage for years to come. Since its inception 46 years ago, The Gilbert Promotional Corporation (GPC) has remained the engine behind the successful and popular Gilbert Days Rodeo. Made up entirely of volunteers, the GPC has upheld its goal of promoting family values, keeping the spirit of the West alive within their community, promoting the Town of Gilbert through various community outreach opportunities and service projects, and of course, their highly anticipated Gilbert Days Rodeo.
