GMC recently introduced the all-new AT4 off-road model for the Canyon. GMC added small but noteworthy updates to make the 2021 Canyon a competitive midsize pickup truck, according to a Motor Trend review

The Canyon AT4 is geared for outdoor fans or weekend warriors. It includes an all-new off-road model and an off-road tuned suspension with GMC’s Advanced Hill Descent Control System, 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and an Eaton G80 locking rear differential.

Heated front seats and an optional heated steering wheel will help keep you comfortable on the road. Available exterior colors are summit white, desert sand metallic, satin steel metallic, onyx black and cayenne red tintcoat.

Standard features on the Canyon AT4 include a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 308 horsepower, according to Kelly Blue Book, and four-wheel drive. Optional is GM’s 2.8-liter turbodiesel 4-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.

Overall, the GMC Canyon offers the capability of a midsize truck and is a comfortable ride, whether or not it’s loaded, says MotorTrend. An available diesel engine makes it one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its class.

Technology features inside the Canyon will keep drivers connected on and off the road. These include the GMC Infotainment System with downloadable apps including The Weather Channel, Apple CarPlay and available wireless smartphone charging.
