Founded 71 years ago, Wickenburg’s Gold Rush Days has remained an integral part of Arizonan history. In fact, the event is so significant that it is recognized by the United States Library of Congress as one of America’s Living Legacies. Part of that legacy being Wickenburg’s rich past in rodeo and the western lifestyle! The National Senior Pro Rodeo Association (NSPRA) is proud to bring rodeo action to Wickenburg this February. NSPRA rodeo events include Bareback & Saddle Bronc, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Tie Down Roping, Ribbon Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, and Ladies and Men’s Breakaway Roping.

Activity kicks off on Thursday, February 7th with the opening of Wickenburg history exhibits at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum at 10am. The fun continues when the Brown’s Amusements Family Carnival opens its gates at 4pm and continues throughout the weekend. Nashville country artist Tracy Bird can be found singing away at the Del. E Webb Center on both Thursday and Friday evening at 7:30pm.
