Pink will be everywhere during the month of October at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa, all in the name of breast cancer awareness.

Pink & Denim

You’ll see employees sporting their jeans, pink apparel and maybe even pink hair on select days to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Not only is it a great way to be comfortable at work, but it’s another way to start a conversation about something the company is very passionate about. Plus, each employee who is making a pink fashion statement has donated to the American Cancer Society in support of finding a cure. In addition, guests can play their favorite table games on pink felt. Make sure to take a look at the table games next time you are in!

Pink Power Sweepstakes

Guests are also encouraged to wear pink, especially on Thursdays as part of the “Pink Power Sweepstakes” promotion. Guests are invited to enjoy $5 in free slot play after earning 1 Tier Credit at any slot machine on Thursdays in October using their Total Rewards card. Total Rewards members can also receive ten entries for every 50 Tier Credits earned and ten free entries just for swiping their Total Rewards cards at the promotional kiosks every Thursday. Then, on Saturday, October 29 at 5 p.m., Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino will give away $15,000 in free slot play from noon to 5 p.m.

Want even more free stuff?

On Saturday, October 22, stop by the Ak-Chin Ballroom at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino from 2 to 5 p.m. to pick up a free breast cancer awareness blanket. To continue the fun, the casino will host its fourth annual Pink Pool Party on Saturday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. by the pool. The highlight of the party is the Battle of the Bras fashion show, where each casino department designs a pink bra that will be modeled by a male manager or supervisor at the party. Cheer on the models and enjoy this festive event. Awards will recognize best bra design and best bra performance. Plus, enjoy this year’s signature cocktail, the Pink Warrior, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer awareness efforts.

Is all this pink making you hungry?

All month, Agave’s Restaurant at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino will serve up a special pink pancake breakfast with pink whipped cream and strawberries.

Get Involved and Take a Selfie!

Make sure you visit the selfie booth located in the hotel lobby anytime in October to “Picture Yourself in Pink.” Be sure to post your best pink photos on social media using the hashtag # #CaesarsForBCA.

Take care of yourself

Mobile On-site Mammography, Inc. will also be at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino on Friday, October 14 for employees and guests to take advantage of receiving mammograms on site.

It’s a lot of fun and games, but the message behind it is to increase breast cancer knowledge and awareness.  “All Caesars properties are encouraged to engage in activities related to Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Christine Todd, Development Systems Program Manager at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino. “We are fortunate to work for an organization that is so passionate about the health and well-being of our employees and guests.”
