Gregory Wolfe

Gregory Wolfe wowed fans with free Rod Stewart tribute performances to enthusiastic crowds on Friday, Jan. 6 in The Lounge at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa. Shows were at 8 & 10 p.m. Seating allowed great interaction with Wolfe and the casino crowd gathered around to see his show. The Lounge at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino offers a variety of free entertainment year-round, from classic rock to country to R&B and more. It’s right up close and personal, with tremendous acoustics.

Wolfe began with Rod Stewart’s tune “Every Picture Tells a Story” and continued with many favorites, including “Tonight’s the Night,” “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?” and “Hot Legs.” Wolfe encouraged the audience to sing along. Later, audience members got up to dance, continuing through the entire show, including a standing ovation for Wolfe at the end. It was a great night of fun, nostalgia, and memories for all!

In 2005, Wolfe started performing with a 35-piece orchestra from Orange County, California, conducting shows at corporate events and fundraisers in the Los Angeles area. However, Wolfe’s true love is his tribute to Rod Stewart, which he continues to do for packed houses. It is evident with Wolfe’s talent that his Rod Stewart tribute is his true love, he mimics Rod Stewart very much like him right down to the hair style, clothing, voice, face and entertaining style.

In February 2008, Wolfe, along with three other performers doing tributes to Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, and Roy Orbison, toured 22 country clubs and performed sold-out shows in Southern California and Arizona. Wolfe and his band have also done benefit concerts for cancer research. Guests of Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino had a great opportunity to see Wolfe’s free show in The Lounge on January 6.

Visit The Lounge at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino for details on future shows, you won’t want to miss them.
