Floore Country Store on bustling Bandera Road, where the delicious smells of a small-town carnival filled the air. Feel the excitement as this cherished tradition took root and grew, eventually blossoming on new grounds on Leslie Road, and the thrill when the heart-pounding rodeo joined the family, starting in a modest arena in the parking lot. Now, witness the soaring spirit as both the beloved Cornyval, proudly celebrating its remarkable 60th year in 2025, and the electrifying PRCA Rodeo, marking its powerful 38th year, unite on those same grounds in a grander arena – a testament to dreams nurtured and traditions that continue to ignite the heart of Helotes.

A PRCA Rodeo of Notable Size

Witness the remarkable flourishing of the Cornyval & PRCA Rodeo! From its humble beginnings, drawing a respectable 12,000-15,000 attendees over four days, this beloved event has experienced an incredible expansion, now captivating nearly 100,000 people annually. The rodeo, too, has seen exponential advancement, consistently becoming larger and more spectacular with each passing year. The Cornyval proudly stands as one of PRCA’s esteemed medium-sized rodeos, and the word is spreading – this is an unforgettable, must-attend spectacle!

Prepare for thrilling rodeo action brought to you by the legendary Andrews Rodeo Company, owned by Sammy Andrews, renowned for providing the most elite rodeo animals, including the infamous, formidable bull Bodacious! Get ready to witness the skill and excitement of women’s barrel racing, breakaway roping, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, and the ultimate test of courage, bull riding – plus the crowd-favorite mutton bustin’! Each electrifying event will award cash prizes and a coveted Champion Buckle!

Three Nights, Three Themes: Your Rodeo Adventure Starts Here!

Experience the nation’s fastest-growing rodeo spectacle, where each night offers a unique flavor of excitement! Thursday shines a spotlight on St. Jude with a very special evening. Be sure to wear purple to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, while Friday brings the refreshing Bud Light night – a perfect pairing for thrilling rodeo action. Finally, Saturday proudly showcases Helotes Rodeo’s unwavering support for our Veterans. And when the dust settles in the arena, the energy continues at the Cornyval grounds with live music and dancing, making it a complete night of unforgettable entertainment.

Don’t miss Cornyval’s unique and hilarious Chicken Bingo, plus the excitement of pig races, a corn-eating contest, and much more! Discover unique treasures and show your support for numerous local vendors showcasing their goods. This is your chance to create lasting memories and enjoy a truly unforgettable time with friends and family.
