Based in Texas, Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) develops track-tested engine upgrade packages and parts to turn vehicles into performance machines. The team test drives parts and options on HPE’s own test track, located adjacent to their workshop and showroom in Sealy, Texas.
The Hennessey group debuted the Hennessey VelociRaptor V8, its upgraded version of the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor, at the 2018 SEMA show, according to an article in The Drive. Each year, the SEMA trade show brings together leaders in the automotive specialty products market.

Hennessey’s changes to the Raptor included a specially built 5.0-liter V-8 engine, upping it to 758 horsepower. Also a 2.9-liter supercharger allows the engine to reach even higher output, according to the article.
