Gary Leffew’s Bucking Ball music starts the second the live feed from the Wrangler NFR completes!  Las Vegas-based country musician Scotty Alexander will take the stage at the Tropicana Las Vegas nightly.  Alexander, a traditional country artist, will perform around 9 p.m. followed by the Texas Jamm Band.

“Anytime you’re in Texas you are going to play slightly different music than in San Diego. We will adapt to the audience,” Alexander stated. “We start the minute the lights go off. Dan Stark is the visionary that saw the need for real country music during a time when real cowboys and country people are flooded in town. We like to play music for people that love real country and want to dance. They know what they are going to get when they come to the Gary Leffew’s Bucking Ball, real country, real entertainment, fiddle playing, and dancing.”
Three fiddles on stage can only be seen at the Tropicana when Alexander and Texas Jamm Band members will make a special joint appearance.  Cowboy Lifestyle Network isn’t giving out details either on what date they will happen…you’ll just have to be in the audience.  Plus several celebrity guests will make appearances over the 10-day run at the Gary Leffew’s Bucking Ball.

Alexander is well known for touring with national acts and is well loved for his artistry, new music, and fiddle playing.  Crowds can anticipate loads of fun as Alexander loves to play for rodeo fans!
“I thank God for all those years with Mr. Newton…it was the musical education of a lifetime…,” quotes Alexander on his website.  Alexander’s  performances include national and international tours with Neal McCoy, Jessica Simpson, Kid Rock and a host of others including 13 USO tours to military bases in 22 different countries.
“Having worked with Mr. Newton for many years. He’d just call it,” mentioned Alexander about a set lineup.  The Texas-size dance floor can anticipate the unexpected.  “I might tell the band the first song. I will go with the crowd.  If somebody hollers out Faded Love from Bob Wills (we’ll play),” Alexander told CLN.
