For over 80 years the members of the Lubbock Downtown Chapter of the American Business Clubs have supported and improved the lives in our community by working to produce some of the greatest western sporting events in the country! The ABC Pro Rodeo, their signature event, has become a beloved tradition in Lubbock and beyond. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere, complete with the sights and sounds of a true western rodeo. Enjoy the special events that are held in conjunction with the rodeo such as the BBQ Cookoff, Special Kick off Event, Pro Rodeo Kick Off Dance and Music performances by Bo Garza and Jodi Nix.
Beyond the arena, the ABC Pro Rodeo also serves as a platform for community engagement and celebration. It provides an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to come together, enjoy the excitement of the rodeo, and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of West Texas.
Furthermore, the ABC Pro Rodeo extends its positive impact by supporting local organizations and initiatives. The Boys and Girls Club of Lubbock is one of the beneficiaries of the rodeo’s BBQ Cook-off event, receiving valuable funds that contribute to their mission of empowering young people in the community
