Fallon, Nevada – Mark your calendars for the second annual Hooey Top Gun Invitational on December 31, 2023. It’ll take place at the beautiful 3C Event Complex located at 325 Sheckler Rd, Fallon, NV 89406. This is the time to party in the dirt and ring in the new year together! Come experience twenty top professional bull riders take on some of the rankest bulls around. Some of the riders include Jordan Spears who’s a five-time NFR qualifier and Travis Briscoe who’s a PBR/PRCA Professional Bull Rider and a six-time PBR World Finals. All twenty cowboys will have the opportunity to ride two times. The high-mark rider of the night will get the chance to ride the bounty bull for a $5,000 bonus. The champion of the night will also receive a one-of-a-kind Hooey Top Gun Invitational buckle and jacket. This extreme event will have you on the edge of your seat. We’re excited to see who will be the champion!

There are a few spots left if you are a PBR World Finalist or have been in the top twenty PRCA year end world standings. If so, you are eligible to enter this event off of the provided QR code or visit here. The top animal athletes are being brought in by some of the best stock contractors around including Tim Roberts with Mann Creek Bucking Bulls who owns the Bounty Bull, James Clark with JJJ Bucking Bulls, and along with five other subcontractors. Peek Brothers Construction is sponsoring the Bounty Bull. This is a night you don’t want to miss out on!
Fireworks will take the skies before the event then you’ll make your way indoors to this extreme event. The doors will open at 6:30 pm and the event will kick off at 8:00 pm. Prepare for a very patriotic opening ceremony as the event will be honoring our U.S. military and the Top Gun School. Be sure to bring your appetite as there will be delicious food and bars set up to grab a bite and a cold one. Cash ONLY will be accepted and there will be ATMs available on-site.

After the bull riding event be sure to stick around because there will be a concert to follow. You’ll be welcome to enter the arena to party in the dirt as the Brodie Stewart Band will be performing. There is a host hotel, Holiday Inn in Fallon, Nevada located at 55 Commercial Way, Fallon, NV 89406. Also, be sure to catch the pre-party on Friday, December 30th at The Grid Brew Pub & Restaurant located at 1120 Taylor Pl, Fallon, NV 89406. The pre-party will kick off at 7:00 pm and this is where the twenty bull riders competing will be divided into four 5 man teams. There will be a calcultta and team captains will draft their teams during the pre-party. There will also be an auction benefiting Nevada Bighorns Unlimited. All ages are welcome!

* VIP (box seats-$100/table-$1,000) includes an exclusive area that is up close to where all the action is. There’s a catered meal included and a private VIP bar for drinks to purchase. The meal will include pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, potato salad, and chips. The meat will be provided by Falls Brand.

Justin Andrade is a former PBR bull rider, Bull Riders Only (BRO) world champion, and an NFR qualifier. Chad Denton is a three-time PBR world finalist and an NFR qualifier.

The Hooey Top Gun Invitational is presented by The Oasis of Nevada Fallon (City of Fallon). Come experience Fallon, Nevada located approximately 63 miles east of Reno, Nevada. Fallon is the proud home to the Naval Air Station (NAS). The Naval Air Station Fallon is also the home to the U.S. Navy-Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) since 1996.
