Horses Help Virtual Barn Bash 2020

Written by

Horses Help is a 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization and for Arizona tax filers, contributions to Horses Help also qualify for the Qualified Charitable Tax Credit.

Since 1987, Horses Help has provided therapeutic and recreational horsemanship programs to individuals with physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges. Each year, we serve more than 100 unique clients on a weekly basis with Equine Adaptive and ground-based programs and another 80 during our summer programs that build STEM and literacy skills. Our North Phoenix, 5-acre campus is home to 16 to 18 uniquely qualified therapy horses.

The COVID-19 pandemic has left many lasting changes on how we carry out our mission and serve those who rely on our programs to help improve their quality of life. This year, for the first time in 15 years, we are changing the format of our premier annual fundraising event that brings together the families we serve, the individuals and organizations that make our work possible and our staff and volunteers. We celebrate with music, games, unique auction items, a mouthwatering western cookout and we raise a significant amount of support for our life-changing programs and services.

For 2020, we are excited to announce Barn Bash 2020 ~ A Virtual Fundraising Event that will bring all of this fun safely to your home! We are inviting our friends near and far to gather their loved ones and spend an hour with us as we share via video motivating stories from the families and wonderful people in our community that are dedicated to making equine-assisted activities and therapies possible for all of the unique and inspiring individuals – children, veterans, teens – who have experienced the life changing effects of working with horses.

Please join us Saturday evening, November 7th at 6:00 pm (MST-AZ Time) and share an uplifting hour with some of the best people we know! You can register at horseshelp.org/barnbash. Once you’ve registered, be sure to download the Handbid app to your phone so you won’t miss out on the chance to bid on one-of-a kind western experiences (Cowboy College, anyone?) and treats for you and your family to help you through these strange times. Additional auction items include world champion cowboy mounted shooting lessons, riding lessons, golf, food and wine packages and more!

If you have questions or would like to sponsor this event, please contact barnbash@horseshelp.org.
