Pre-Rodeo Events
Get ready to kick off the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in style! Rodeo Houston Super Series
The Rodeo Houston Super Series is a 20-day, tournament-style rodeo competition featuring the best in bareback riding, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, and women’s barrel racing and breakaway roping. I love seeing all of the cowboys and cowgirls go out there and give it all they got. Their hard work and dedication is an inspiration. With a total payout of $2,533,500, each event champion walks away with $65,000, plus round winnings, a custom saddle and buckle, and an invitation to return. As an official PRCA NFR money event, Rodeo Houston plays a vital role in determining qualification for the National Finals Rodeo and the PRCA World Standings. Livestock & Horse Show
Beyond the rodeo action, Rodeo Houston features a massive livestock and horse show, with over 30,000 entries. Competitors of all ages, from Texas and around the world, will vie for championship titles in events ranging from auctions and judging to the thrilling calf scramble and Mutton Bustin’, horse show, judging and contests, and the livestock show.
