The Red Bluff Round-Up is held every year in April, usually around the third weekend of the month. The event typically runs from Friday to Sunday, with a variety of performances and events throughout the weekend. This event is a jam-packed weekend of events and performances, with something for everyone to enjoy. So, what’s on the schedule for the Red Bluff Round-Up? Let’s check it out!

  • Rodeo performances: The heart of the Red Bluff Round-Up is its rodeo performances, which feature some of the best cowboys and cowgirls in the world. You’ll see events like bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, and more. Performances occur every day as follows:
    • Friday | 7 pm
    • Saturday | 2:30 pm
    • Sunday | 1:30 pm
  • Concert: On Saturday night at 6 pm there will be a concert with artist, Jackson Dean. You can learn more here.
  • Red Bluff Wild Ride: If it’s one thing that Red Bluff is known for is its Wild Rides that take place during the Sunday afternoon performance. It’s a crazy event where cowboys are judged on their outlandish “get-ups” while riding bucking horses. For this year’s event, there’s more than $7,500 in payouts!
  • Horse Races: In addition to the rodeo events every day, there is also horse and mule racing taking place every day. With different levels of competition, cowboys, and cowgirls alike can come to compete in derby-style races.

What to Do in Red Bluff, California

  • Visit Lassen Volcanic National Park: Just a short drive from Red Bluff, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a stunning natural wonder. The park features hot springs, geysers, and other geothermal features, as well as hiking trails and scenic drives.
  • Explore Tehama County: Red Bluff is the county seat of Tehama County, which has plenty of other attractions to check out. Visit the Tehama District Fairgrounds, the Sacramento River Discovery Center, or one of the many wineries in the area.
  • Go fishing: The Sacramento River runs right through Red Bluff, making it a popular spot for fishing. You can fish for salmon, steelhead, and other species in the river, or head to nearby lakes and reservoirs for more fishing opportunities.

Aaron went to Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ, then to the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he received a Bachelor of Science after creating his own major. This unique course of study wove together Business Marketing, Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, and Religion. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Aaron joined CLN in its nascent stages, contributing to its growth and development over the past decade. As COO, Aaron manages operations, using AI to streamline processes and analyze data, ensuring CLN remains a leading voice. With expertise in business development, he innovates and cultivates client relationships, supporting CLN’s exponential growth. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Aaron values his faith, family, and friends, which are the cornerstones of his life. This personal foundation, combined with his professional expertise, makes him a trusted and authoritative voice in the western lifestyle community. Aaron’s commitment to philanthropy is the bedrock of his personal ethos. He actively supports local Arizona organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Chandler Compadres, Horses Help, Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, and the American Heart Association (among others), reflecting his dedication to giving back and strengthening the community he calls home. Through his work, Aaron aims to preserve and promote the traditions of the west, ensuring that the spirit of the cowboy lives on for future generations.
