Jess Lockwood and Hailey Kinsel Are Locking it Down!

Rodeo Celebrities

It takes something off-the-charts terrifying to make ย 21-year-old PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood hold his breath, but thatโ€™s exactly what he did after uttering these words to reigning WPRA World Champion Barrel Racer, 25-year-old Hailey Kinsel.

โ€˜Will you marry me?โ€™

Long before he turned blue, she gave him that sweet, million-dollar smile the whole world has fallen in love with and said, โ€˜Yes!โ€™

Lockwood is a ranch-raised son of South Eastern Montana and itโ€™s been a long, hard winter. The 2017 PBR Champ is currently on the injured list after suffering a badly broken collar bone that took him out of PBR Global Cup action back in early February at Arlington, Texas. Heโ€™s anxiously awaiting release from Dr. Tandy Freeman, surgeon to the stars and founder of the Justin Sports Medicine program, hoping to regain the top slot in the standings just overtaken by Chase Outlaw.

In 2015, Texan Hailey Kinsel bought her Womenโ€™s Professional Rodeo Association permit and jumped out on the road with her phenomenal palomino mare, Sister. It takes a team, but no one in barrel racing circles looks at PC Frenchmanโ€™s Hayday and fails to wonder if weโ€™re seeing the next revolutionary barrel horse since 10-time WPRA World Champion Scamper set records that stand today.

Since 2015, Kinsel and Sister have won over a half-million dollars chasing white lines and fast times. So far this year, the pair have just shy of $60,000 on the books and are running as tough as ever to be the stalking horse behind Nellie Miller, the current leader.

Please join Cowboy Lifestyle Network in wishing the lovebirds all the best! Congratulations and welcome to the realm of Rodeo Power Couples!
