Famous country music star Jo Dee Messina is coming to town and is scheduled to perform tonight, August 7 at 8 p.m.! She will perform a free show The Lounge at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino. With her newest album, “Me,” which was released in 2014, Jo Dee Messina is excited to share her most personal record to date with fans all over the country. Messina co-wrote many of the tracks on her new album and also allowed her fans to select the included tracks. In addition, supporters of Messina created the artwork for herlogo, and chose the album’s title and the album’s first single “Peace Sign.”
Many people probably do not know that Jo Dee Messina created her most recent album through the crowd-funded website “kickstarter.com.” Her fans helped her raise funds well over her goal of $100,000, which made the campaign the most prosperous campaign to come out of Nashville at the time of completion. Her fans were able to participate in the selection process for the details of the album in return for their investment by including their input on the social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Stage-I.
This summer, Jo Dee Messina is making her way around the nation to give her fans what they have been asking for and one of her stops is Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino’s The Lounge. Make plans to be there tonight, August 7th, where she is guaranteed to rock the house with her new album hits, but also keep fans singing and stomping to some of her original tunes such as “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” “Bye-Bye,” “My Give A Damn’s Busted,” and “Lesson in Leavin.’” This concert is guaranteed to be a fantastic time so get there early and enjoy the show.
