Releasing his latest single, Feels Like Country Music is the title track off of Texas Country artist Jon Wolfe’s recent EP, the first album he’s worked on with outside producer, Dave Brainard. Continuing to bring the cowboy and country lifestyle to fans via new music, Wolfe draws inspiration from growing up in Texas and Oklahoma. According to Jon, Feels Like Country Music is an anthem for country music fans and what he feels like it (country music) means to people. In times like these, Jon says, “it’s also the perfect time for this song, when people are looking for things they can identify with and are down to earth. I think of going down a country road in Miami, OK (pronounced “Miama”) with my hand hanging out the window feeling the breeze.” Wolfe wants to continue to bring that message and approach to his music.
In addition to new music, Jon Wolfe’s latest project brings a new taste to country via his tequila label, Juan Lobo. A nickname given to him by his friends, Juan Lobo has developed into a smooth full flavored tequila trio, Blanco which is unaged, Reposado that is aged in oak barrels with a little spice and vanilla for 7 months and the Anejo aged in oak barrels for 22 months. Wolfe states “if you like bourbon, you’ll truly identify with the Anejo that’s 100% blue agave you can enjoy straight out of the bottle.”
For now, you can find bottles of Juan Lobo at liquor stores across Texas and California. If your state allows it, you can also order it online at Great American Craft Spirits.
