LAS VEGAS (Tuesday, November 14) – Six months before PBR and Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo debuts in Texas, it was announced today that the two entertainment powerhouses will join forces on Wednesday, December 13 in Las Vegas, holding the exclusive Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo Party hosted by Cole Hauser at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay.
The can’t-miss event will bring celebrities, rodeo royalty and fans together for a night of unforgettable celebration while announcing the six team names and coaches who will compete at reimagined rodeo event – Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo – on May 17, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo leads into the PBR World Finals Championship on May 18-19, also held at the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
Five-time PRCA champion steer wrestler Luke Branquinho and well-known voice of the PBR Matt West, will be joined by 2016 PBR World Champion Cooper Davis and seven-time PRCA champion bull rider Sage Kimzey for the announcement of both the team names and coaches.
Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo is a reimagined, team-formatted Western event, with six teams competing in bracket-style competition featuring Kid Rock live in concert, playing all his hits and more as well as other musical acts curated by the artist who has sold nearly 30 million records. The all-star rodeo team competition and upbeat production will be patterned after the successful formula PBR brought to bull riding through the Teams league launched in 2022. Six teams, each led by a head coach who will make crucial game decisions, will go head-to-head in barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and breakaway roping, a fast-growing rodeo discipline.
Alongside the exciting unveiling, the Rock N’ Rodeo Party will also feature appearances by namesake Kid Rock, host Hauser, renowned DJ Dee Jay Silver, in addition to legends from the PBR and rodeo universe.
The announcement of the Rock N’ Rodeo Party in Las Vegas comes as Kid Rock continues to lean into the growing Western sports and lifestyle market.
Hauser, an accomplished veteran actor currently starring as Rip Wheeler on television’s No. 1 drama “Yellowstone,” returns to the PBR stage after uniting with PBR earlier this season when the two formed a strategic partnership making Hauser the organization’s newest brand ambassador. In May 2023, during PBR’s 30th Anniversary World Finals Hauser began filming the PBR’s soon-to-be-unveiled national brand campaign.
During Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo Party, a sneak peek of PBR’s short film starring Hauser will also be screened.
PBR presents Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Rodeo Party, hosted by Cole Hauser, will take over House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay on Wednesday, December 13, beginning at 9:00 p.m. PST.
Tickets for the can’t miss party are on sale now for $250, taxes and fees not included, and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com. The event will be general admission access only, no reserve seating.
Ticket packages including Kid Rock’s Rock N’ Roll Rodeo (May 17) and PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Championship (May 18-19) at AT&T Stadium are also on sale now and can be purchased at pbr.com/worldfinals or seatgeek.com.
