Kitsap County Fair and Stampede 2018

Written by

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It is that time of the year again, folks. Hold on to your hats with one hand and grab your seat with the other because you’re in for another ride. The annual County Fair in Kitsap County, a community of people known for their celebration of the Western culture, is hosting an event yet again. The 2018 Kitsap Stampede is back along with the Xtreme Bulls circuit. This means the whole family is going to be in for some serious rodeo action this year.
The event is called the Big County event by locals, which is always held at the Bremerton fairgrounds.

Schedule

This year, the PRCA Kitsap Stampede will be held from the 22nd of August to the 26th August along with the Xtreme Bulls circuit events. The Thunderbolt Arena will see the events unfold from 6:30 pm onwards throughout these dates. While there will be a host of events, the Xtreme Bulls event is going to attract the most people and will be the favorite, like every year.
Riders come from across the country and the world to watch the PRCA events. The Xtreme Bulls circuit always attracts the biggest crowds because of the highly dangerous nature of the game.
You see, the Kitsap Fair isn’t just about the bull riding. For the people to enjoy, many country musicians also grace the audience with their presence and their energizing performances. The Tough Enough to Wear Pink, an event geared towards breast cancer awareness, will be one of the sponsors for the event like every year.

Tickets

You can get the tickets for the event at etix.com for easy online purchasing. The best of the tickets, however, come in combos. You get to see the rodeo nights, and you get access to the fairgrounds so that you can see what happens behind-the-scenes. The Kitsap Annual Destruction Derby will take place right after the event with some of the most entertaining performances and exotic animals for everybody to enjoy.

Peter Varlet

Peter Varlet’s the cowboy critic you love to hate, until he’s right. Born during a thunderstorm in 1972 in Bismarck, North Dakota, he grew up watching his WWII vet dad battle to save their farm from corporate claws. Now, Peter’s the unapologetic voice of Western culture, with a historian’s grip on America’s past, acknowledging both its heroes and hypocrites. His truth to power articles are a no-holds-barred zone for rodeo reviews, cowboy movie takedowns, and ranching tricks that work. He’ll tell you why your country singer’s a fraud and how to fix a fence with only baling wire and spite. Peter despises corporate factory farms taking over and cherishes the DIY grit of real Americans. Politically correct? Nope. Trustworthy? Damn straight. He’s saving the West, one brutal truth at a time.
