Larimer County Fair and Rodeo 2018

If you’re a Colorado cowboy or cowgirl who has been waiting for a great rodeo to come to your area, your patience has been rewarded. That’s because from August 5-7 at the Budweiser Events Center, the PRCA Larimer Rodeo will be arriving with its usual amount of thrills and spills. With more than 100,000 fans expected to attend this year’s festivities, there’s no doubt this year’s rodeo will be the best yet. Along with the exciting events and world-class competitors, the Larimer County Fair and Larimer Rodeo will both get extensive media coverage from the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team, guaranteeing fans a behind-the-scenes look unlike anything they’ve ever experienced.
Great Events
Like all great rodeos across the United States, the PRCA Larimer Rodeo will be filled with lots of great events for fans of all ages. Some of those to watch include:
–Bull riding
–Steer wrestling
–Team roping
–Saddle bronc
–Tie-down roping
With these and many other great events on the schedule, be prepared to shout and holler from the first bull ride until the last steer is wrestled to the ground.
Special Nights
To make sure the PRCA Larimer Rodeo will be a truly special event, fans will be treated to plenty of special nights honoring various groups of individuals. One of these is Local Heroes Night, which will be held on Sunday, August 5th, and will pay tribute to our nation’s military veterans and first responders, all of whom are so willing to sacrifice their time, energy, and even their lives to protect and serve our freedoms and liberties. In addition to this memorable evening, families can look forward to Monday, August 6th, which will be 4-H Family Night.
Larimer County Fair
Along with the great rodeo action, fans can also enjoy many fun activities at the Larimer County Fair. Some of these include:
–Pancake Breakfast
–Concerts
–After-rodeo dance
–Cowboy Church
–Parade
–Brew Festival
–Petting Zoo
