There’s nothing more electrifying than being on the Las Vegas Strip. Unless, of course, you incorporate a Carnival, PRCA Rodeo, and PBR Last Cowboy Standing onto the Las Vegas Strip! Las Vegas Helldorado Days 2017 will take place May 11th-14th at the Las Vegas Village with the light of the Luxor Hotel and Casino lighting up the background.

History
Las Vegas Helldorado Days originated way back in 1934 by a Carnival barker who saw an opportunity to make a quick buck by throwing a party for the overworked Dam workers and the many visitors who came to see the building of the Dam. It grew such a reputation over the next 10 years that Roy Rogers actually used it as a backdrop for one of his films in 1946. Unfortunately, over the years, production costs increased as the sponsorships decreased and Helldorado days became a thing of the past. But, in 2005, the Las Vegas Centennial Commission worked with The Elks Lodge No. 1468 to bring the event back to celebrate Las Vegas’ 100th birthday. In 2016 the Elks Lodge No. 1468 teamed up with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to create Las Vegas Helldorado Days.
Schedule of Events
What historically started as an extremely rowdy party has now turned into a family-friendly affair that allows us to get back to our roots as well as have a little fun. Besides the Rodeo and Bull Riding the weekend will consist of Golf tournaments, Art Shows, Battle of the Bands, and everyone’s favorite, Hoe Downs!A few of the many sponsors are Wrangler, Tito’s handmade vodka, Elks USA, Wells Fargo, and South Point.
