We’ve all seen it – or worse, experienced it firsthand: another horse hauling scam on social media. A horse owner sends a deposit to what appears to be a legitimate transport service, only to be met with silence. No follow-up, no transport, and no refund. But now, thanks to the vision of Chance Sill, Clay Regner, and Lacey Edge, a new solution is offering peace of mind to horse owners everywhere: Linxitt.
Linxitt is a cutting-edge app built specifically for the horse industry, designed to simplify and elevate the process of transporting horses by connecting users with trusted, verified carriers. It’s a modern tool with a clear goal: make hauling safer, more transparent, and more efficient.
“We were selling a lot of horses, and during the peak of COVID we were always struggling to find transport,” recalls Sill. “That’s when online sales were becoming more prominent – horses were spread out all over the country and you weren’t necessarily traveling to a physical location. We just decided to create an Uber-like app, specifically for horse hauling. We wanted to give people instant access to a verified carrier network where they can go on, request quotes, and book the carrier that they want, all in one seamless transaction.”
Buying or moving a horse is already a stressful experience. Thankfully, Linxitt removes much of the guesswork by offering a wide selection of verified carriers nationwide – right at your fingertips.
“When carriers join Linxitt, they have to put their business name, pictures of the rig, their photo ID or their driver’s license, and commercial insurance, alongside any additional information to process payment. You have to have all of your ducks in a row to be on the app as a carrier and we certainly stick to haulers or carriers that are doing this full time,” explains Sill. “Customers will be able to browse carriers from across the country with their quotes and put a deposit down on the spot. The customer and carrier are always in contact as well, so if there’s any questions or any concerns prior to booking, they can get all the details ironed out.”
The Linxitt team also prides themselves on the app’s ease of use and modern features, including GPS tracking, secure in-app communication, and seamless payment processing. But it doesn’t stop there. The app’s new “Swipe Feature” brings a fun, new twist to horse buying and selling, and features dominant horse companies such as Royal Crown, Billings Livestock, and many others. Similar to online dating apps, users can “swipe left” on horses they’re not interested in or “swipe right” to connect with a seller. It also includes a “Shop Now” button, linking buyers directly to auction websites with active horse listings. The app isn’t just for horses either – businesses from other industries can showcase their products too.
“We wanted to create something that was interactive and engaging for potential buyers. Between Clay, Lacey, and myself, we have a significant amount of knowledge within the industry, which makes it easier to approve sellers,” says Sill. “As of right now, we’re reaching out to sellers and onboarding them personally. We want to promote the highest quality horses as possible, and just connect the equine industry as a whole. It’s truly a one-stop-shop and makes everything so easy.”
Whether you’re a seasoned hauler, a first-time buyer, or a horse owner looking for peace of mind, Linxitt is redefining the way the equine community connects, transports, and does business. As the app continues to grow and evolve, one thing remains clear: the future of horse hauling and horse shopping is here, and it’s never been more accessible.
