GCPRA Lost Dutchman Days 2018 in Apache Junction, AZ

If you are a cowboy or cowgirl living near Apache Junction, AZ, there is no doubt you’ve got your calendar marked to attend the GCPRA Lost Dutchman Days 2018 Rodeo. Held at the Apache Junction Rodeo Park, this year’s event is guaranteed to be more exciting than ever. Considered one of the premier rodeos in the southwestern United States, it will feature plenty of the world’s best rodeo competitors vying for more than $30,000 in prize money. This, combined with a variety of traditional rodeo events and extensive media coverage from such outlets as the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Earnhardt Auto Centers, Papa John’s Road Team, and Ak-Chin Indian Community, all adds up to what is sure to be one of the most exciting GCPRA Lost Dutchman Days rodeos in recent history.

Rodeo Events

Since this is considered a classic rodeo, it will feature plenty of events fans of old-time rodeos are sure to love. Some of the featured events will include:

  • Bareback riding
  • Calf roping
  • Steer wrestling
  • Barrel racing
  • Team roping
  • Bull riding

Along with the regular rodeo events, the GCPRA Lost Dutchman Days 2018 Rodeo is also filled with plenty of other special events that will make this rodeo even more special. One of the most popular will be the “SASI Girls,” one of the top equestrian drill teams in the United States. Performing a variety of difficult routines, they make any rodeo in which they perform that much better. Along with this group, fans can also enjoy this year’s featured specialty act, Rider Kiesner. A champion trick roper, gun spinner, and whip cracker, Rider will bring his unique talents to the rodeo, making a fun event even more enjoyable.

Costing $15 for adults and $10 for kids 10 and under, this family-friendly event is a true bargain.
