In fact, both of Brittney’s parents are former professional ropers. Brittney grew up competing in Little Britches Rodeo and High School Rodeo.
She still enjoys competing in barrel racing and roping with her father and uncles. She has formerly held the title of her hometown rodeo as Miss Parada del Sol Rodeo.
Brittney later moved on to hold the title as Miss Turquoise Circuit 2012, the rodeo representative for the states of Arizona and New Mexico combined.
The lovely ladies of Cowgirls Historical Foundation are saddled up for service as they try to increase public awareness, appreciation, and preservation of America’s western heritage and equestrian lifestyle. Brittney Truman will hold her crown till the Prescott Rodeo in May 2014.
