Each year, without fail, Christmas comes earlier and earlier. The 4th of July comes and goes, Halloween is always a hit, Thanksgiving flies by and next thing you know, youβre sipping spiked eggnog next to stockings hung on the fireplace and talking about New Year’s resolutions. As soon as the first chill hits the air, Christmas trees and lights are being put up in homes around the country, and Christmas music takes over seemingly every radio station you have programmed in your truck. The same old Christmas songs that we all grew up with pump through the speakers, so why not add a few new (and newly redone) ones to your list? Here are just a few of our favorites (in no particular order) that are on repeat this holiday season!
Ian Munsick – Youβre A Mean One, Mr. Grinch
Munsick puts a unique spin on a classic that you wonβt expect! His banjo and mandolin skills shine through in this cult classic!
Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani – You Make it Feel Like Christmas
Country fans’ favorite couple melt our hearts once again in their new vintage-inspired Christmas song.
Tim McGraw – Christmas All Over The World
Leave it to Tim McGraw to once again write a feel-good song that brings everyone together. The positive attitude Tim keeps in his music is always a breath of fresh air!
Kelly Clarkson, Chris Stapleton – Glow
Kellyβs voice has been a force to reckon with since her days on American Idol, but throw in Chris Stapleton andβ¦ wow. Their voices blend together like apple cider and bourbon.
Thomas Rhett – Christmas in the Country
Reminding us what it was like to be young and in love during the holiday season, Thomas Rhett released a new Christmas song that I guarantee got him on the Nice List.
Maddie & Tae – Holly Jolly Christmas
These ladies know how to put their spin on a song we all grew up with. Theyβll have you grabbing the closest wood spoon as you cook to use as your own personal microphone.
Cody Johnson – Iβll Be Home For Christmas
Sharing a more sultry crooner side, CoJo will make you swoon with his version of this seasonal classic.
Mitchell Tenpenny, Meghan Patrick – Neon Christmas
A Christmas song that everyone who’s ever travelled during the holidays can relate to, Neon Christmas gives us hope that the holidays can still be βlitβ.
Morgan Evans – Christmas in the Sun
Evans makes us all jealous and wanting a warm Christmas as he makes snowmen in the sand, surfs in a Santa suit and sips on tropical drinks at a beach bar.
Tigirlily – Where Are You Christmas
Following along the same lines as Ian Munsick, Tigirlily puts their country feel on another Grinch Who Stole Christmas soundtrack favorite.
