Music Monday: One’s to Watch in 2022

Written by

While 2021 was yet another year many would like to forget, the world seemed to spiral further away from what we’ve all known our entire lives, musicians around the world have been given the time they don’t normally have to sit down and write. I know personally, I look forward to every Friday when my Spotify Release Radar refreshes with all my favorite artists. The quality of lyrics and music that’s been put out since the world shut down has been both inspirational and moving. Many of us have discovered new artists (or new to us at least) and have truly taken the time to listen to the heart of each musician in a way that we haven’t really taken the time for in the past. If the world going crazy has given us anything, it’s a renewed love for music and those who pour their souls into creating it. Here’s some new music from our favorite’s that we’ve all grown to love over the years and a few more “newbies” that we hope you enjoy as much as us!

Chart Toppers

Cody Johnson – ‘Til You Can’t

Seaforth ft. Jordan Davis – Good Beer

Walker Hayes – Drinking Songs

Eli Young Band – Love Talking

ERNEST ft. Morgan Wallen – Flower Shops

We wish that we could include everyone that we’ve discovered this past year, unfortunately, that list would be too long to ever publish. As always though, we’re constantly on the lookout for the latest talent (both signed and undiscovered) and need your help! Everyone has a different taste in the same genre of music, so we’d love to hear from you about the artists that are at the top of your playlists! Whether they’re new to the scene or someone you think is underrated, our ears are wide open, and would love to check them out. Drop us a line and let us know who you’re listening to!

Running on Dutch Bros coffee and my love of travel, I’m always up for an adventure. I believe in exploring new places and drunken nights around a campfire. Unpopular opinion or not, Cards Against Humanity is the best game ever created. @lindsiriancreative
