Ned LeDoux LIVE at the Navajo 4th of July Fair

Written by

Wyoming country sensation Ned LeDoux will make a stop at the 33rd Annual Navajo 4th of July Ag Expo and PRCA Pro Rodeo on July 4th, 2019 at the Navajo Nation Fairgrounds in Window Rock, Arizona. NO ADMISSION REQUIRED; this concert is a complimentary event sponsored by Navajo Gaming Enterprise.

Son of the late Chris LeDoux, Ned released his first full-length album “Sagebrush” in 2017 and has opened for notable country acts Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Chris Janson, Aaron Watson, Brother’s Osborne and Randy Houser. Currently on tour this summer, he will make a stop in Window Rock at the Sports Center on his “Dance with Your Spurs On 2019 Tour” on July 4th.

LeDoux served as the drummer for his late-father’s band “Western Underground” in 1998 and has since performed all over the country, in saloons and bars to mainstream amphitheaters and arenas. After Chris LeDoux’s passing in 2005, Ned has stepped up to the microphone with a guitar and has done his best as a country front man.

“People always tell me I sound like my dad,” said Ned LeDoux, “and that is the best compliment I could ever get.”

“Sagebrush” has some songs co-written by his late-father, whose songs and ideas inspired Ned to pick up the guitar and write his own music. Songs “Never Change,” “Cowboy Life,” “We Ain’t Got It All” and “Forever A Cowboy” were a father-and-son collaboration with Ned finishing songs his father had left ideas for

“I didn’t want to lean on my dad too much, so it was just a way for me to just fill in some blanks with dad’s unfinished thoughts,” said LeDoux.

He gained the attention of producer Mac McAnally with his debut EP “Forever A Cowboy” in 2016 and agreed to work with LeDoux on “Sagebrush;” McAnally has won Country Music Award’s prestigious musician of the year eight times.

In 2017, Ned LeDoux won “Best Male Vocalist” at the Rocky Mountain Country Awards, which honors the best country music from Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, South Dakota, Kansas and Nebraska. His collection of songs describes his history, from farming and ranching in his native Wyoming to his days as a young musician on the road.

LeDoux is also debuting his father’s songs into his song catalogue and live show, to introduce
his music to music fans who have never heard of his father’s music.

“I think I’ll always try to include at least one of my dad’s songs on all my albums to introduce
new fans to some of the songs they may have missed,” said LeDoux.

Don’t miss your chance to catch some good country music at the Window Rock Sports Center
on July 4th, 2019 at 9 P.M. sponsored by Navajo Gaming Enterprise! Fireworks will follow the
concert.
