New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo 2016

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Albuquerque commemorates the region’s Western heritage when the New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo comes to town from September 8th through the 18th. Professional athletes keep the thrills coming during the PRCA Pro Rodeo events that will also feature the challenging PRCA XtremeBulls. Agricultural competitions and exhibits, hundreds of vendors, a carnival and live celebrity entertainment mean fun for all in attendance. As always, there will be culinary delights to tempt all.

PRCA Pro Rodeo

To the anticipation of spectators and family, budding cowboys and girls entertain the audience during the Rank Lil Buckers Rodeo on the 9th. Every evening thereafter, starting on the 10th, fans have the chance to watch all of the excitement provided as Western athletes compete with the clock and each other during the PRCA Pro Rodeo and the PRCA XtremeBulls events. The nightly entertainment continues with celebrity concerts. The current New Mexico State Fair schedule reads as follows:

Additional Activities

The New Mexico State Fair also celebrates the regions ethnic heritage through exhibits that include the Indian Village, Villa Hispana and various art galleries. During the day, selected artisans demonstrate their crafts. Expositions include leather and woodworking, lace-making, crocheting, knitting, rubber stamping and weaving.
From opening day, various acts offer a wide range of entertainment from live band performances, magic shows, kid’s workouts, Native American ritual dancing and karaoke. On the 9th and the 15th a clogging dance group will also perform. During the last two days of the fair, the Native American nation demonstrates various traditional crafts, music and dancing. On Sunday the 18th, from 2:30 P.M. on, various churches offer worship services and choir presentations.

Everyday, members representing the Ak-Chin Indian Community, the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team and the Cowboy Lifestyle Network will be on hand to cover the rodeo and all of the events as they unfold. Aaron Kuhl

Aaron Kuhl is a passionate advocate for the western lifestyle, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Cowboy Lifestyle Network (CLN). Growing up as an Arizona native, with a mother who worked for Wrangler Western for over 30 years, Aaron was immersed in the cowboy culture from a young age. Aaron and his sister Heather grew up watching rodeos, as their grandfather and uncle were PRCA ProRodeo cardholders. This early exposure has given him a profound understanding and appreciation for the western way of life. Aaron went to Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ, then to the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he received a Bachelor of Science after creating his own major. This unique course of study wove together Business Marketing, Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, and Religion. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Aaron joined CLN in its nascent stages, contributing to its growth and development over the past decade. As COO, Aaron manages operations, using AI to streamline processes and analyze data, ensuring CLN remains a leading voice. With expertise in business development, he innovates and cultivates client relationships, supporting CLN’s exponential growth. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Aaron values his faith, family, and friends, which are the cornerstones of his life. This personal foundation, combined with his professional expertise, makes him a trusted and authoritative voice in the western lifestyle community. Aaron’s commitment to philanthropy is the bedrock of his personal ethos. He actively supports local Arizona organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Chandler Compadres, Horses Help, Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, and the American Heart Association (among others), reflecting his dedication to giving back and strengthening the community he calls home. Through his work, Aaron aims to preserve and promote the traditions of the west, ensuring that the spirit of the cowboy lives on for future generations.
