The action starts on September 6 with a welcoming arts party and continues all the way through to September 17, 2017. You’ll find plenty of events taking place every day during the fair that you can check out before and after the rodeos.
Rodeo Events
September 8 welcomes Aaron Lewis and Rank Lil’ Bunkers, but September 9 brings Midland with The Last Bandeleros & PRCA Xtreme Bulls. PRCA, which is the professional association for cowboy bull riders, has scheduled events set for every night between September 12 and 17. The PRCA New Mexico State Fair Rodeo brings together some of the top names in the field for an exciting experience that you won’t want to miss.
Other Concerts
To make rodeos even more exciting, the PRCA partnered with a series of country music artists and other bands like Aaron Lewis. For one price, you get a ticket to both the rodeo and live music. In addition to Lewis, the rodeo will welcome guests like Sawyer Brown on the 13th, Kansas on the 14th and Big & Rich on the 15th. You even have the chance to see legendary singer Kenny Loggins on stage on the 16th.
How and Where to Buy Tickets
Tickets to these rodeo events start at $20 for standard bench seats. You can pay extra for a seat with a chair back or for one of the box seats, though you should keep in mind that tickets to some events go fast and that some shows may sell out before the scheduled date. Depending on where you sit, you may turn up in one of the photos or videos shot by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers and Papa John’s Road Team, which is the media group handling the fair. You can purchase tickets online, over the phone or at the University of New Mexico Box Office.
Experience New Mexico like never before with fun activities and events that are suitable for your whole family. You can ride any of the carnival rides, try your luck at a few games and chow down on classic foods like cotton candy and popcorn. The New Mexico State Fair Rodeo takes place at Tingley Coliseum, which puts you close to all these fun activities.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator border_width=”4″][vc_empty_space][vc_masonry_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1505243813491-be179e45-d600-5″ include=”37142,37144,37146,37147,37148,37149,37150,37151,37152,37153″][vc_single_image image=”27253″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https://apple.news/A890mcdCeSK-da7JOyyoiXA”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
