[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]As rodeo fans across the United States know, these events play an important role in helping various charities and organizations. As a result, in recent years community outreach has become an integral part of rodeos year after year. While many events do their share to help those in need, perhaps none do more than the National High School Finals Rodeo. For more than 60 years, this event has showcased the best high school rodeo competitors in the United States. This year’s rodeo, scheduled for July 17-23 in Gillette, Wyoming, promises to not only be as competitive as ever, but also do its share of good for the community.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
With such events as calf roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, and others on the schedule, the media coverage will be extensive. At the head of the pack will be the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, offering interviews and videos of the National High School Finals Rodeo. Along with CLN, other coverage will come from the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers, and Papa John’s Road Team.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”35568″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Providing numerous NHSRA Scholarships to deserving students, the NHSRA Foundation has been helping others for many years. In fact, since its creation, it has given out more than $1 million to charities and competitors across the country. Along with this, it has also been instrumental in working with a number of sponsors, such as Wrangler, to help raise money for important military charities such as the Americas 300 Club.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”35569″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Established in 1996 by the National High School Rodeo Association, the NHSRA Crisis Fund has paid out benefits totaling $162,483 to competitors who have been injured during rodeo events or families who have lost a loved one during a rodeo or while traveling to and from an NHSRA-sanctioned event. By providing financial assistance in times of need to those who need it most, the NHSRA Crisis Fund has played an important role in the lives of those who love rodeos.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Whether providing NHSRA Scholarships year after year, raising money for military charities, or providing financial assistance to families and competitors, the National High School Finals Rodeo is determined to help cowboys and cowgirls not only continue to enjoy the sport, but also help them through the tough times as well. As more and more NHSRA Scholarships are awarded each year, there’s no doubt cowboys and cowgirls across the country will enjoy all that rodeos have to offer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”27253″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” >
