Oh, What a Night! The DT Comedy Show at UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle

And what a night it was. Laughing cures all ailments! The UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle hosted The DT Comedy Show in September, which is hosted every quarter.    Hilarity, fun, and exhilaration filled the audience.
Cowboy Lifestyle Network was fortunate to meet with David Trujillo (aka DT) prior to the show to find out just what the show was all about. DT shared that this comedy show has been taking place since June 2013 and has been presented every three (3) months each year. The first show held about 105 guests, and it was very successful.

After that initial show, following shows continue to be a huge success with audiences of up to 225 guests! The show is held in one of the movie theaters at UltraStar. DT adds “There is no stage because it’s in a theatre, so it allows more interaction with the audience and total connection with them”.
The five (5) comedians who entertained the crowd were Big Rob, Kyle Reade, Matt Quick, Mike Dapper and Gary “Hoodie” Hood. All of them kept the audience laughing, captivated and engaged with their comedy, which makes for a great night of merriment and entertainment. “The success of this show has grown the brand of UltraStar Multi-tainment Center, and I’m very proud of The DT Comedy Show,” comments DT.

The comedians who perform and the audience members are a very diverse group. Gary “Hoodie” Hood, Manager of Laffs Comedy Café’ in Tucson, AZ is over 70 years old and his comedy fits that age group Then there is DT, whose comedy fits the 20s to 30s age group.   DT told us, “A table of ladies was celebrating their friends 80th Birthday at lunch in Luxe Lounge, one day. They called me over to their table just to let me know they were so excited to see the show as part of their celebration, and they attended the show every time, haven’t missed one.”
The show runs flawless and has since fruition. There are no plans to change a thing with the run of show. The only thing that may change is to increase the number of shows each year, “that’s in the plans for the future of comedy here at UltraStar”, DT proudly stated.
Stay tuned for the December 2015 DT Comedy Show; you won’t want to miss it!

Patrick OD O'Donnell

The moment a bull's gate swings open—that's when Patrick "OD" O'Donnell feels most alive. From his early days riding bareback through Arizona pastures to revolutionizing the bull riding industry as President of Bull Riders Only, OD has lived the Western lifestyle he now champions as Founder of Cowboy Lifestyle Network. Growing up in Casa Grande's sunbaked agricultural heartland, he didn't just learn about horses and ranching, he lived it daily, developing the instincts and grit that would later attract 4 million followers to CLN's authentic voice. After his baseball days at the University of Arizona, OD saw something others missed: bull riding wasn't just a sport, but was compelling entertainment waiting for the right vision. Between 1990-1997, his leadership transformed local rodeo competitions into sold-out arena events that changed Western sports forever. Today, that same pioneering spirit drives CLN's coverage of everything from championship rodeos to the quiet heroism of ranch life. When he's not building the digital home for cowboy culture, you'll find OD supporting Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, leading CLN’s 25-year Christmas Toy Drive for Arizona kids, or sharing his love of horsemanship with special needs riders through Arizona's own Horses Help. Living proof that authentic Western values still have the power to transform lives.
