The Okeechobee Cowtown Rodeo is one of the hottest PRCA events scheduled for Okeechobee, Florida this year, and you will love all that this Pro Rodeo event has to offer. The event runs from March 11 through March 13, 2016, and it is sponsored by the Okeechobee County Cattlemen’s Association and the Okeechobee County Cattlewomens Association.

The Okeechobee Cowtown Rodeo is one of the hottest PRCA events scheduled for Okeechobee, Florida this year, and you will love all that this Pro Rodeo event has to offer. The event runs from March 11 through March 13, 2016, and it is sponsored by the Okeechobee County Cattlemen’s Association and the Okeechobee County Cattlewomens Association. It will be held at 1885 Hwy 441 North Okeechobee, FL 34972. While this event is a favorite for all cowboy and cowgirl ages because of its stock show and horse show, the real draw is the rodeo events. Cowboy and cowgirl fans of all ages will love team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding competitive events.

While there are other amateur and professional rodeo events in the southern region, the Okeechobee Cowtown Rodeo event is unique because it is affiliated with the PRCA or Pro Rodeo association. Hosted by the Okeechobee County Cattlemen’s Association and the Okeechobee County Cattlewomens Association, this Okeechobee, Florida event has all of the rodeo event that you have come to know and love, and it brings you competition from some of the top cowboy and cowgirl competitors from across the country who are vying for a spot in the Pro Rodeo finals later in the year.

Some will come to see the stock show and horse show, but the PRCA rodeo events provide the true excitement. Here, you can check out competitions for breakaway roping, team roping, bull riding, barrel racing, bareback riding and saddle bronc riding. You can purchase your tickets for the VIP section of the Okeechobee Cowtown Rodeo for 2016, but ensure that you save time to tour the rodeo event center to check out the vendors, food booths and more as well.
