Ole 60 Live in Flagstaff: A Mountain Concert Experience You’ll Won’t Forget

If you’ve been craving a live music experience surrounded by stunning scenery, mark your calendar for April 25, 2026 – rising country-rock band Ole 60 is bringing their Smokestack Town Tour to Pepsi Amphitheater in Flagstaff, Arizona. Joining them is the genre-blending energy of Cigarettes @ Sunset, making this one of the most exciting live shows in Northern Arizona this spring!

A Stacked Lineup

Ole 60 is an American country/alt-country band from Hawesville, Kentucky, formed in 2023, known for blending Appalachian storytelling with elements of grunge, southern rock, folk music, and traditional country. The roots of the band run deep, too! Childhood friends Jacob Ty Young and Tristan Roby began writing and performing music together in a backyard shed. Their informal jam sessions eventually grew into a rotating local lineup before solidifying with the additions of guitarist Ryan Laslie, bassist Colby Clark, drummer Aden Wood, and multi-instrumentalist Dwight McGlynn. The band name was inspired by the route Young took to Roby’s house.

They gained widespread attention in 2024 through breakout singles like “Smoke & a Light” and “Thoughts of You”, and acclaimed debut album Smokestack Town in 2025.

Cigarettes @ Sunset are carving out a new sound of their own, proudly calling it Possum Rock – a raw and soulful blend of Americana, Indie, Appalachian Folk, and Rock. Appalachian-raised and hailing from Boone, North Carolina, the five-piece band channels the rugged beauty and resilience of their mountain roots into every performance. Frontman Garrett Dellinger (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), alongside Wells Whitman (bass, backing vocals), Ethan Moore (drums), Sarah Vann (violin, vocals), and Ryland Bagbey (lead guitar), craft a sound that feels both familiar and entirely new, weaving fiddle runs, gritty guitar tones, and heartfelt lyricism into something that defies genre lines.

Their hometown of Boone was deeply impacted by Hurricane Helene in 2024, a moment that reshaped the band’s perspective and underscored their commitment to making music that connects and endures. Whether on stage or on record, the band delivers an unfiltered sound built for sweaty venues, open fields, and anyone searching for something real.

Plan Your Weekend Getaway

Flagstaff is such a great place to visit any time of year, but there’s just something about summer in the pines. It feels like a breath of fresh air – literally! Tucked into the pines at 7,000 feet, it’s a cool escape from the desert heat, where days are warm, nights are crisp, and the mountains always seem close (because they are). Mornings invite slow coffees downtown, afternoons lead to forest hikes and alpine lakes, and evenings settle into live music, local brews, and star-filled skies. There’s an easy rhythm to summer in Flagstaff: outdoorsy without trying too hard, lively without feeling crowded, and grounded in a sense of place that makes you want to stay a little longer than planned. “Always look up after dinner in Flagstaff. The city’s dark-sky designation means there is a great chance of catching a shooting star or identifying a planet with your naked eyes. And even novice sky watchers who wander into a dark park or open space can easily recognize constellations and features of the night sky.”
