Parada del Sol Parade & Trail’s End Festival 2025
Scottsdale, Arizona – Looking for something exciting to do with the family this weekend? Well, look no further because it’s time for the 71st Annual Parada del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Festival. This event is bringing the Wild West to the streets in Old Town Scottsdale on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Put on your Western attire, gather your lawn chairs and family members, and I’ll see you there!
“For over a decade, my wife and I have made the Parada del Sol Parade a family tradition, and now, sharing it with our two boys makes it even more special. There’s nothing like seeing their eyes light up at the horses, floats, and music—this event is pure Scottsdale, bringing families together year after year. It’s more than a parade; it’s a celebration of community, culture, and the memories we create along the way!”

The annual parade and community celebration has been a Scottsdale, AZ tradition since 1953. It’s a fantastic way to experience Arizona’s old west entertainment. The event showcases the area’s rich history and features school groups, bands, with nearly 150 Parade entries marching down Scottsdale Road and live musical entertainment. With great shopping and food, it’s a fun day-long event for groups, bus tours, and anyone who wants to enjoy the festivities. There’s plenty of parking available, so come to Old Town Scottsdale and join the more than 35,000 people who attend each year! I look forward to this event each year and always stop by Cien Agaves Tacos & Tequila. I order the Tinga Tacos and they do not disappoint. It’s one not to be missed out on.
“This is one of the best parades in the country. It features beautiful horses, excellent marching bands, perfect weather, impressive floats, and ice-cold Coors beer.”

Right after the Parade, the Trail’s End Festival kicks off a giant block party for everyone! Enjoy live concerts, delicious food, and tons of fun. Kids will love the KIDZ Zone, with games, pony rides, and more. Plus, there will be plenty of food and merchandise from local vendors and food trucks throughout the Trail’s End Festival area.
