If you are a cowboy or a cowgirl interested in some incredible rodeo action in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Parada del Sol Rodeo is a must-see event. It will be held at WestWorld from February 25 through 28, 2016, and it is in its 63rd year. This is a parade and PRCA sanctioned rodeo event that also brings the rodeo community together. Including the CLN, Ak-Chin Indian Community and the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team. It will be covered by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, but it is best to experience all that this event has to offer in person.

Wrangler Champions Challenge at WestWorld Scottsdale


From team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping and sheep riding to bull riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding, this is an event that has it all. Since 1953, the rodeo and parade have been celebrated events for local residents in Scottsdale and from across Arizona and beyond. Held at WestWorld, the parade winds through the city streets, and it notable has grown over the years to be the largest horse-drawn event of its kind in the world. There are more than 150 parade entries, and the parade will run on February 13, 2016 before the PRCA events begin. This is an event that delights the cowboy or cowgirl in you because of its unique western spirit and flair.
Whether you have plans to see the famous cowboys and cowgirls in person at WestWorld with a one-day experience or you plan to spend several days in Scottsdale, Arizona enjoying all that the event has to offer, you will not be disappointed. There are cowboy and cowgirl competitions in many popular PRCA events. This includes events like saddle bronc riding, bull riding, sheep riding, breakaway roping, barrel racing, bareback riding and team roping, to name a few. Each night there will be specialty acts, and be sure to wear your Pink Western wear while enjoying the festivities on Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night.
