[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]One of the final stops of the Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) prior to the PBR Finals in Las Vegas will take place in North Carolina from October 14 to 15. The Frontier Communications Invitational is a special PBR BFTS event presented by Wrangler and Cooper Tires; it is part of the ongoing expansion of this bull riding circuit, which now features 1,200 professional riders from around the world.
The two rounds of the BFTS Frontier Communications Invitational will unfold at the PNC Arena in Raleigh. Tickets can be acquired in advance from ThePNCArena.com or PBR.com. Prices range from $15 for standard seats up to $500 for special elite packages.
Current Gold Buckle holder and champion Cooper Davis will be one of the 35 riders who will compete at the Frontier Communications Invitational in Raleigh. Three former world champions, including two from Brazil and local favorite J.B. Mauney, will also get a chance to dazzle rodeo fans with their bull riding skills.
This invitational stop of the circuit is expected to be one of the best in terms of fan experiences. Things will kickoff on October 13 at Raleigh’s very own Lone Rider Brewery and Davis Rodeo Ranch, where fans will be able to get up close and personal with the bulls. On the same days, the pro riders will meet fans at the Chapel Hill Walmart on Highway 15; this will be an excellent opportunity to meet Shane Proctor and Gage Gay, two local rookies who are tearing up the circuit and are expected to give veteran riders a run for their money, which in this circuit stop includes a purse worth $140,000.
Fans will also be able to enjoy after party events at the Backyard Bistro on Hurricane Alley Way on October 14 at 10:00 p.m. On the final day of the invitational, the pro riders will return to the Backyard Bistro for a special brunch with fans before their final performance in Raleigh.
