If you thought the cowboy way could only be appreciated in the likes of Texas, then you need to get out to Madison Square Garden between January 15–17. That’s when the Monster Energy Buck Off goes full throttle in New York. Part of the Built Ford Tough Series and sponsored by the likes of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), American Whiskey and Hooters, this will be your chance to watch adrenaline-fueled bucking bull riding by dozens of the top PBR cowboys out there. For a lot of these riders, it’s going to be the toughest eight seconds of their lives.

For closing in on ten years, the Built Ford Tough Series has brought fierce, bone crunching, snot spewing action to New York. As always, the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, the Ak-Chin Indian Community and the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team will be all over the Monster Energy Buck Off. You’ll see them at the rider autograph signings at Hooters, Wyndham New Yorker and H.O. Penn. They’ll be at American Whiskey, where the Professional Bull Riders will hold the event’s kick off party. And, not surprisingly, no one’s planning to miss the official PBR after-parties at Hooters. The festivities take place after Friday and Saturday’s bull riding performances at Madison Square Garden.
The Wyndham New Yorker is the host hotel for the Monster Energy Buck Off. A short walk from Madison Square Garden, the Wyndham is a premier New York hotel. It’s near Big Apple landmarks like Radio City Music Hall, the Museum of Modern Art and Rockefeller Center. In fact, the Wyndham is centrally located, providing easy access to all points of the city’s best sites, eateries and shopping.

Spend your days relaxing in a luxury hotel or taking in New York and your evenings watching the top contenders in bull riding (including Mike Lee, Heffernan, Mason Lowe and Kurt Shephard) go one-on-one with the feistiest animals on the planet.
Remember, that’s January 15th to the 17th. It’s at Madison Square Garden. It’s bull riding at its best and it promises to remind all of New York why the PBR stages the best cowboy events imaginable. So go ahead, buy your tickets, book a room at the Wyndham New Yorker and get ready to have the time of your life.

Patrick OD O'Donnell

The moment a bull's gate swings open—that's when Patrick "OD" O'Donnell feels most alive. From his early days riding bareback through Arizona pastures to revolutionizing the bull riding industry as President of Bull Riders Only, OD has lived the Western lifestyle he now champions as Founder of Cowboy Lifestyle Network. Growing up in Casa Grande's sunbaked agricultural heartland, he didn't just learn about horses and ranching, he lived it daily, developing the instincts and grit that would later attract 4 million followers to CLN's authentic voice. After his baseball days at the University of Arizona, OD saw something others missed: bull riding wasn't just a sport, but was compelling entertainment waiting for the right vision. Between 1990-1997, his leadership transformed local rodeo competitions into sold-out arena events that changed Western sports forever. Today, that same pioneering spirit drives CLN's coverage of everything from championship rodeos to the quiet heroism of ranch life. When he's not building the digital home for cowboy culture, you'll find OD supporting Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, leading CLN’s 25-year Christmas Toy Drive for Arizona kids, or sharing his love of horsemanship with special needs riders through Arizona's own Horses Help. Living proof that authentic Western values still have the power to transform lives.
