Step into a new legacy of bull riding where heroes are forged not alone, but together. The PBR Teams series isn’t a simple competition; it’s a brotherhood of elite riders battling shoulder to shoulder, driven by a shared dream of team glory. Feel the rush as rivals become teammates, uniting to conquer the toughest bulls and bring the championship title back to their city. This groundbreaking shift transforms the raw power of the sport into a stirring quest for collective victory, creating an emotional connection that goes far beyond the arena. The one and only Austin Gamblers hold the title of the 2024 PBR Teams Champions, proving that teamwork, courage, and a relentless pursuit of greatness redefine a sport you thought you knew.

A Legacy Transformed

This is it. The fourth season of PBR Teams marks a transformation of a three-decade-old individual sport into a thrilling team competition for glory. The world’s best riders now compete in high-stakes 5-on-5 games across a 12-event regular season, a journey of grit and passion that builds to a single, explosive moment. Feel the electricity as the season culminates in a championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas from October 24-26, 2025. Don’t just watch a sport; witness a legacy transform.

This is PBR Teams

The thrill you live for is still here, where the most intense eight seconds in sports remain the ultimate test of man against beast. But now, that singular battle carries the weight of an entire city’s pride and a team’s destiny. The PBR has been transformed by ten powerhouse squads, each with a heart and a hometown: the Austin Gamblers, Arizona Ridge Riders, Carolina Cowboys, Florida Freedom, Kansas City Outlaws, Missouri Thunder, Nashville Stampede, Texas Rattlers, New York Mavericks, and Oklahoma Wildcatters. Every ride is a shot at victory, every buck fuels a rivalry, and every fan can finally cheer for a team to call their own.

The Grind for Glory

Feel the shared strength. In a game format designed for pure, high-stakes drama, the five selected riders on your team must ride as one, with their combined scores determining a win, a loss, or a tie. The stakes are immense: this is a 35-game grind across 12 events, including your team’s own home stand and two pivotal neutral-site events, all building to a single, explosive championship. Every single game win or loss is crucial, shaping their destiny and their journey toward the playoffs. This isn’t just about watching a cowboy ride; it’s about a team fighting together, and you’re fighting with them.

United for a Championship

Every rider on a team’s protected roster is a crucial piece of a unified front, sharing in every triumph and every defeat. During competition, teams have five starters and up to seven riders on their bench, all committed to a single goal. The stakes are immense from the start, as the coach strategically pairs each of their five riders with a bull, aiming to create a perfect storm of scores for their team. In the arena, the pressure is real, and the riders’ fate is intertwined; with no rider allowed to compete twice in a game, every ride is critical. In a moment of high drama, a rider can even consent to a substitution, highlighting the unbreakable trust and shared sacrifice in the high-stakes battle for team glory.

It All Comes Down to This

The pressure is on. Three days of heart-stopping elimination will decide the PBR Teams Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, from October 24-26, 2025. The season’s top three teams get to breathe easy with a first-round bye, but for everyone else, the challenge begins on Wild Card Friday. On this single night of pure tension, teams will clash in three-way games, battling to keep their championship dreams alive. The emotional rollercoaster peaks on Saturday, as a three-way Last Chance Game offers a thrilling path for a losing team to ride back into the competition. It’s a bracket designed for drama and a final push for glory, as the four best teams battle it out in a final elimination tournament for the title. The Austin Gamblers are the reigning 2024 PBR Teams Champions and are ready to defend their legacy.

Biography:

Howdy, I'm Megan deFabry. I grew up in Reno, Nevada, but since 2017 my heart has called Texas home. I now reside in Austin, Texas since 2020. I'm driven by my faith, cherished relationships with family and friends, and my professional ambitions. I'm passionate about digital marketing and journalism, especially the wide-open spaces of America's Western lifestyle, the grit of agriculture, the excitement of rodeo, and the heart of country music.

For nearly a decade, I've been sharing this way of life through storytelling. And like any good cowboy tale, there's a loyal sidekick, my little Dachshund, Frank, who I adopted from a shelter in New Braunfels, Texas, back in 2018. He keeps me grounded, reminding me to chase horizons and savor life's simple joys.

I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Affairs and a minor in Mass Communication. My major taught me to decode consumer behavior, which is crucial for marketing, while my minor sharpened my storytelling skills. Since then, I've spent years mastering SEO and content strategy, staying ahead in a fast-moving field. My work even caught the eye of Cowboy Lifestyle Network's CTO, Irish Padmore, who recognized me for contributing to his research on Consumer Behavior in the Age of AI.

Since 2018, I've been honored to work at Cowboy Lifestyle Network. Now as Editor-in-Chief writing, editing, and publishing articles that capture the cowboy spirit, crafting strategies rooted in Western values, and building real client connections. Guided by ethical journalism, I aim to tell stories that resonate and reflect the unsung heroes of the Western spirit.
