If you’re not familiar with this one-of-a-kind Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) sanctioned rodeo, it is considered a privilege to attend whether you’re competing or spectating.

The spirit of this major rodeoΒ goes by the tagline,Β β€œLet’ er Buck!” Β This rodeo is famously known by three words…Pendleton Round-Up.

Over a century ago, the very first Pendleton Round-Up show took place in Pendelton, Oregon.

Today, β€œThe Greatest Free Show in the West” still remains and is considered one of the most exciting major rodeo attractions in America since 1910.
The very first Pendleton Round-Up was a combination of some of the most dangerous sports in the world. Including Cowboy Racing, Bronco Busting, Native American and even Military performancesβ€”β€œa frontier exhibition of picturesque pastimes.”

Native American tradition has been profoundly embedded since the establishment of the Pendleton Round-Up. This year’s annual celebration included the world-famous Indian Relay Races. Other attractions of Native traditions included more than 300 teepees at the grand tribal village hosted by members of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

TheΒ biggest names in rodeo make their way to compete and put it all on the line in order to win Mother Nature’s most extreme challenges at the Pendelton Round-Up.
