The
PHX3on3 has become an outdoor sporting event that basketball enthusiasts look forward to every year. This year’s tournament registration fees will benefit
Special Olympics Arizona and the
American Cancer Society. Teams of at least three players (with up to four) will take to the courts for bragging rights and friendly competition throughout the weekend in a bracketed tournament where teams will participate with other teams of similar age and height.
Teams will play a minimum of three games throughout the duration of the two-day tournament but could play more depending on their win/loss records.
Team categories are as follows:
- Men’s & Women’s Elite Divisions
- Adult Recreational Divisions
- Youth/Teen Recreational Division
- Wheelchair & Special Olympics Divisions

Every registered person will receive a commemorative PHX3on3 player t-shirt for participating in the tournament. The champion and runner-up teams in each bracket will receive prizes, and the men’s and women’s elite teams will be competing for a cash prize of $2,000. All registered players are entered into a drawing to win two tickets to the February 10
Phoenix Suns game against the
Golden State Warriors. Great news, as team registration has been extended to February 5, so register soon!
This tournament isn’t just for the players. Spectators will enjoy live entertainment, choices of good food to divulge in, skill contests, a slam-dunk exhibition and guest appearances by a few recognizable athletes.
